Get to know UBI Finance 2.0 |
Thanks to everyone who has joined us for our UBI Finance 2.0 Office Hours sessions so far.
Over 125 folks have attended so far to get a walkthrough of the new app with Mark Anderson and the Business Intelligence Team. The team guided the group through key features and answered questions along the way. Attendees were glad to see that the data they rely on is all still there, just with new visualizations, added detail, and a more user-friendly experience.
At our last session, Jason Davis of Facilities Management voiced his appreciation for the new app: "I've been here over 10 years, and this is the best reporting app I've seen, so congratulations. This one's pretty good!"
The first few office hours sessions were designed to help users become familiar with the updated interface. After this week, Tuesday sessions will be topic-specific, including:
Date | Topic |
August 5th
| Understanding the Difference Between Financial and Managerial Reporting |
August 12th
| An Overview of Fund Types |
August 19th | Sources & Uses Overview |
August 26th | Accounting Views: Understanding Ledger Accounts, Income Statement and Balance Sheet Reporting |
September 2nd | Understanding Fund Balance |
September 9th | Payroll Reporting Overview: Actuals & Obligations |
September 16th | Non-Payroll Obligations & Commitments |
September 23rd | NACUBO Function Overview |
September 30th | Deeper Dives into Data Analysis |
We're also maintaining a resource site with videos, quick reference guides, and other helpful materials. We’ll keep adding resources and information as the summer progresses.
