UVA’s Amazon Business Punchout in UVA Marketplace is helping schools and units purchase what they need more efficiently and in alignment with University purchasing practices.  We’re pleased to share that we’ve assembled a new Amazon Purchasing Guide on the UVAFinance website, designed to provide you with the assistance and resources you need.

Great Progress Across Grounds

Thanks to your efforts, reimbursement requests for Amazon purchases are way down compared to this spring. Your commitment to using the approved purchasing methods is making a real difference, streamlining processes and ensuring UVA’s purchasing power is used effectively.

We encourage all schools and units to continue:

• Using the centralized Amazon Business account or Amazon Business Punchout in UVA Marketplace
• Avoiding reimbursements for Amazon purchases made through personal Amazon accounts.

Communication and Support

We’ll resume sending targeted communications this month to department staff, reimbursement recipients, and T&E Card users to help reinforce these purchasing practices.
