T&E Card: Report a Leave of Absence

Report a leave of absence to keep your card safe!

T&E Cardholders are required to report if they will be going on leave for more than 3 weeks. Their card will be suspended in their absence to ensure that the T&E Card is secure while the cardholder is away. 
The cardholder should submit a T&E Card Change Request Form before they go on leave to have their card suspended and again once they return from leave to have their card reinstated.


Reoccurring and upcoming payments: Cardholders should communicate with their department to make sure that upcoming payments are set up on a different T&E Card in their absence. Another employee can apply for a T&E Card if needed.

T&E Card Expenses: A T&E Cardholder can assign an Expense Delegate to assist with expensing T&E Card transactions in their absence. If an expense is identified for an employee on leave, the department may reach out to their Expense Ambassador as well for assistance submitting the transaction.

Leave during T&E Card Annual Training: If a cardholder is on leave during cardholder training and does not report being on leave using a card change request form, their card could be at risk of being canceled if they do not complete their training in time.
