Strengthening UVA’s Financial Community in 2025 with FAN

Fiscal Advisory Network 

UVAFinance is excited about what’s ahead for UVA’s fiscal administrators. This year will be one of growth, collaboration, and continued success—thanks in large part to the active partnership of our Finance Advisory Network (FAN).

What is FAN?

FAN is made up of financial leaders from every school and unit across Grounds. The group began meeting late last year and continues to meet every other month, alternating with Fiscal Administrators meetings. FAN plays a key role as both an information-sharing partner and a conduit for feedback. They help ensure that fiscal administrators across Grounds stay informed, while also bringing your questions, concerns, and needs directly to UVAFinance.


Reinvigorating Fiscal Administrator Meetings

Our newly recast Fiscal Administrators Meetings will launch in February, and we’re excited to offer these sessions every other month as a dynamic space for learning and sharing updates.

How You Can Participate

We encourage all fiscal administrators to take full advantage of FAN’s revitalized role. If you have feedback, suggestions, or questions, please share them with the FAN representative from your area. FAN’s mission is to ensure that your voice is heard, and your insights are vital to helping us improve processes and build a better financial community.
