UVAFinance Welcomes Mara Hilliar

Mara Hilliar

Mara Hilliar will join the UVAFinance team on March 5 as Executive Assistant to the Vice President. With over 20 years’ experience in executive-level assistant and office manager positions, eleven of which have been in higher education, Hilliar comes to UVAFinance most recently from the School of Architecture, where she was assistant to the dean.

A 1984 graduate of UVA, Hilliar has experience as a liaison with elected officials, cabinet secretaries, the Governor’s office, local and regional officials, and the business community, and has coordinated the development of a college-wide budget and has conducted budget analysis and planned and executed college-wide events.

Hilliar will be located in front of the VP Finance suite beside Stacey Rittenhouse. She looks forward to meeting her new colleagues, so please don’t hesitate to stop by and say hello!
