In her position as Executive Assistant, Cash has been focused on supporting Richardson and Peper, finding ways to make their day-to-day schedules more manageable. From overseeing calendars and scheduling, to jumping in wherever an extra hand's needed, Cash has become a familiar, valued part of the UVAFinance team.
As Operations Coordinator, Cash will broaden her focus across UVAFinance, working at the intersection of Finance and HR. She'll support recruitment and hiring efforts, especially the onboarding and offboarding processes, helping bridge HR's expertise and the organizational and cultural knowledge needed to make these processes run smoothly within UVAFinance.
For Cash, one of the most exciting parts of this transition is getting more involved across UVAFinance, beyond the more focused area of operations she's been working in as an Executive Assistant. She is looking forward to strengthening her interpersonal connections throughout Finance, and she's currently developing a game plan; laying the foundation for this work, with plenty of opportunities ahead to help strengthen how we operate collectively. Simply put, Cash enthused she's eager to "help bring great people together to do great work."
The Operations Coordinator role also links back to work Cash has done in the past with UVA Health, where she assisted in recruitment efforts and engaged with applicants throughout the recruitment and hiring processes.
While she settles into this new position, Cash will continue supporting Richardson and Peper in the interim as we work toward welcoming a new Executive Assistant to the team.
