| Get ready to ring in the fiscal new year! |
The Year-End Closing Dates page allows you to:
- Sort activities by date
- Filter by functional area
- Focus on the deadlines most relevant to your work
With several important deadlines approaching in the weeks ahead, a quick check now can help avoid last-minute surprises later.
Fiscal New Year’s Resolutions
Year-end is also a great opportunity for a little financial housekeeping before we begin FY27.
As you review your area’s financial activity, consider adding a few “Fiscal New Year’s Resolutions” to your checklist:
- Review DN/GR/GF combinations within your cost centers to ensure appropriate fund balances (all fund balances should either be zero or have a credit balance)
- Deactivate outdated or unused worktags
- Review recurring suppliers, subscriptions, or services to confirm they are still needed
- Clean up old reports, files, or approval queues
- Revisit processes or documentation that may need updates for the new fiscal year
Taking time for this kind of data hygiene now can help support cleaner reporting, smoother processes, and better decision-making all year long.
