T&E Card: Transferring Departments

When a T&E Cardholder transfers departments, they must complete the card transfer process for their new department. Here's what the process involves:

  • Canceling the current T&E card
  • Expensing all current T&E card Transactions
  • Applying for a new T&E card that reflects the new department’s information
  • Receiving a new T&E Card
The cardholder can bypass the T&E Card Training Requirement when applying for a new card if their training is already up to date. The complete instructions are found on the T&E Card’s Transfer Card page.


If you have transferred departments and are unsure if your card’s department information is current, please review the Active Cardholder Search to verify the department associated with your card. If your department information is not current, you must complete the Transfer Card process.
