Reminders Before Holiday Break

Don't forget!

We hope you're getting ready to enjoy a break for the Winter Holidays.  Before you set that out-of-office message, here are two quick reminders: 

• If you're taking extended time off as the holiday approaches, remember to delegate your Workday duties as appropriate.  Many people add PTO days to the holiday time UVA grants (and we love to see it!).  You can ensure your area's business processes don't stall while you're out by temporarily electing a delegate in the system.  (More information about delegation on the UVAFinance website.)

• This January, a new penalty goes into effect for T&E Cards with transactions aged 90 days or older.  Avoid having your card canceled:  expense those older T&E card transactions if you have them!  (Read more about this on the blog.)
