Earlier this month, UVAFinance Team members spent a day learning more about Strategic Sourcing, a Workday module that could help with our procure-to-pay process.
As we move past the stabilization period after the 2022 implementation of Workday, the team is intent on streamlining business processes and supporting our vendors.

| Three AAA bond ratings for UVA |
UVA has received top ratings from major credit rating agencies Moody’s Investor Services and Fitch Ratings, both noting UVA’s robust financial profile and exceptional operating performance. The University’s consistent enrollment, high-value educational offerings, philanthropic gifts, and overall academic reputation supported the agencies’ top ratings.
The University also holds a AAA bond rating from Standard & Poor’s, most recently affirmed in August 2023. Read more about the reaffirmation in this UVAToday article.
