Take a moment to think about how you prepare your coffee in the morning. For many of us, it involves a single-use plastic coffee K-Cup. The routine is quick and familiar, almost as if we are on autopilot. Over time, those small moments add up, and so does the plastic waste they generate across Grounds.
This February, UVA Sustainability is inviting employees to consider switching to reusable cups or other low-waste coffee options.
Choosing reusable or low-waste options can help reduce plastic waste on Grounds, save money, and support the University’s sustainability goals.
As a thank you, participants will be entered to win a sustainable coffee kit for their workplace.
