| Digital Certificate Renewal |
Here are a few quick facts about the digital certificate renewal process, along with some steps you can take the next time you receive a renewal reminder.
Quick Facts
- Your digital certificate is valid for 13 months.
- Renewal reminders come from notifications@securew2.com.
- You will receive five renewal reminders before your certificate expires, when there are 25, 10, 5, 2, and 1 days remaining.
- You will receive all five reminders even if you renew your certificate before one of those reminder dates.
- If you have a certificate installed on your phone, you will receive separate reminders for that certificate in addition to the reminders for your work laptop.
- If you recently migrated to a new laptop, you may continue receiving reminders for the certificate on your old laptop if it has been less than 13 months since the migration.
- You can renew your digital certificate at any time. For convenience, you'll find a renewal link in the LSP Hub, located on your desktop.
- The ITS website also has a helpful FAQ section if you have additional questions.

Not Sure Whether Your Certificate Is About to Expire?
If you're wondering whether that renewal reminder is legitimate, here are two easy ways to check:
- Search your email history. Look for previous messages from notifications@securew2.com to see when you last received a certificate renewal reminder.
- Check your certificate's expiration date. Go to Internet Options → Content → Certificates and look for the certificate with your name and a number next to it. Check the expiration date to see whether it matches the timing indicated in the renewal email.
