Looking for a practical way to build your communication and leadership skills? Hoos Speaking Toastmasters Club at UVA, sponsored by UVA Facilities Management, offers a great professional development opportunity for University employees and the greater UVA community. 

Hoos Speaking Toastmasters provides a supportive, learn-by-doing environment where participants can practice public speaking, strengthen presentation and public speaking skills, and build confidence. Whether you're preparing for an important meeting, looking to become a more effective communicator, or interested in taking on a leadership role, Toastmasters offers an opportunity to learn and grow alongside others who share the same interest.

Join Hoos Speaking Toastmasters

The club meets Wednesdays from 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m. at the Leake Building. Visitors are always welcome to attend a meeting and observe before deciding whether membership is right for them. Membership: $144 per year, plus a $25 enrollment fee for new members.
