UVAFinance Welcomes Anne Krehmeyer to the OneUVA Workday Team

We are excited to welcome Anne Krehmeyer, EVP-COO Fellow, who will be partnering with the UVAFinance team to support the OneUVA Workday project.

Krehmeyer will be splitting her time between O'Neil Hall, with the Office of the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Carruthers, collaborating with the OneUVA Workday team. This unique experience gives her the opportunity to see the University from a variety of different departmental perspectives, learning about UVA's broader operations while contributing to the OneUVA Workday project, which will have a sizable impact across the University.

Krehmeyer, a Charlottesville native, graduated this past spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Leadership from the Frank Batten School. During her last two years of college, she served as a teaching assistant for the Batten class Resilient Leadership, taught by Professor Tim Davis. It's no surprise, then, that Krehmeyer's interest in how educational institutions function and her excitement to learn more about how leadership teams collaborate led her to the role of EVP-COO Fellow.

“I've always been interested in education and I wanted to understand how higher-ed institutions operate beyond the classroom, outside of the student perspective,” Krehmeyer says.

Through her EVP-COO Fellowship, Krehmeyer has had the opportunity to sit in on meetings with senior University leaders, getting a firsthand look at the many teams and operations that keep UVA up and running. She is particularly interested in understanding how state institutions are governed from a leadership perspective.

Krehmeyer's role with UVAFinance comes into play through her support on the OneUVA Workday project. While she's still getting up to speed on the full scope of the project and meeting members of the team she'll be joining, her work will focus primarily on project management, change management, and communications, with more specifics to follow as she settles into her position in the coming weeks.

For Krehmeyer, this experience is a valuable opportunity to put her interest in leadership and organizational effectiveness into practice, all while gaining a firsthand view of how a large public university operates.

In her free time, Krehmeyer can be found exploring Cville's trails as she trains for the upcoming Richmond half-marathon, or coaching girls' volleyball at one of the local middle schools.
