Tracy Marcotte Completes Her Treasury Management Track

Tracy Marcotte recently completed the three-year Treasury Management Track through the Treasury Institute for Higher Education and the College Business Management Institute (CBMI).

The Treasury Management Track is designed for higher education finance professionals and includes 10 courses focused on treasury, investment and debt management and related areas. Participants complete the program over three years, attending an intensive week of coursework each summer at the University of Kentucky. Upon completing all three years, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion from the Treasury Institute and CBMI.

When Marcotte moved from Facilities Budgeting to Treasury, she and Treasury leadership put together a career plan for her new role and where it could lead. In the years since, she has taken on more responsibility, built her knowledge of Treasury’s work and continued to grow within the Treasury team.

This summer, Marcotte  reached one of the goals included in that plan. After three years of coursework, she completed the Treasury Management Track, building on the experience she has gained at UVA with additional training in treasury, investment and debt management.
