Reminder: Fund Hierarchy Updates Go Live July 31

Don't forget!

Just a quick reminder that updates to the Fund Level Hierarchy and UFM Fund Source Hierarchy in Workday will take effect on July 31.

While these updates won't affect most day-to-day activities, they may impact unit reporting for some areas. Below is a quick overview of what's changing and what to expect.

Here's a Quick Refresher

Fund Level Hierarchy

• Hierarchy values will be renamed to better support reporting needs.
• If you've saved reports or use these values as report filters, you may need to update them after July 31.

UFM Fund Source Hierarchy

• This hierarchy will be retired because it is no longer in use.
• If your area still relies on it for reporting, we're happy to help you identify an alternative.

No Changes to These Hierarchies

• Fund Sponsored Programs
• State Fund Hierarchy
• Expendable Level
