Do you have any unused T-shirts?

A note from the Carruthers Hall Green Team

Want to help a little
climate crafter?
Charlottesville’s Community Climate Collaborative (C3
) is partnering with Virginia Discovery Museum to provide Climate Activity Kits to 750 4th graders in Albemarle County and possibly 400 5th graders in the City.

One of the activities they'd like to include is a "make your own reusable bag out of a t-shirt". They don't want to buy new shirts due to the carbon impact, and they wondered if any of us at UVA had old shirts lying around that will not have another use that they could use for the project.

The shirts need to be light in color (white or pastel are best). If you have even a few shirts you could spare by February 19, contact Susan Kruse: susan@theclimatecollaborative.org
